Hotel Fateh Prakash Palace is a hotel in Udaipur that is an example of the glory of the former rulers of Rajasthan. The Fateh Prakash Palace belonged to the Mewar Dynasty. The palace was named after Maharana Fateh Singh who ruled from 1884 to 1935. The palace was built on the banks of the beauitiful Lake Pichola. It got the recognition as the grand heritage site by the Government of India. It was given the award of best heritage hotel in the category of Heritage Grand, in the year 2001 – 2002.
