The Climate of Rajasthan is extreme. The summers are hot and dry and the winter is cool in Rajasthan. Speaking of comfort the best time to visit Rajasthan is from October to March, when the weather remains pleasant.

There are four seasons in Rajasthan climate. The summer is from April to June is hot and dry. Generally the summer temperature ranges from 32 º C to 45º C. Western Rajasthan experiences very hot summer and often the temperature rises up to 48º C. Mount Abu, the only hill station in the state experiences a cool weather in summer. As most of Rajasthan is arid, while the days are hot, nights are cool in summer.



Monsoon in Rajasthan is hot and humid. Monsoon stays from July to September.

October to November is the post-monsoon season in Rajasthan. Generally the maximum temperature remains within the range of 33º C to 38º C.
